While we were treated to Nathalie Fourdraine‘s RI cover back when the September solicitations came out, we just got our first look at the A & B covers!
The A cover is by Lamar Wells, an Archie Sonic veteran who has a handful of covers to his name ranging from regular issues to super specials to digests. This will be his first work for IDW Sonic, and let me say it may be some of his best.
Tracy Yardley shows off his wide array of artistic ability on the B cover. Drawn up like a propaganda poster, it shows Neo Metal with Angel Island in his grasps with the shadows of the Resistance below.
And of course, Nathalie’s RI cover shows the entire cast ready to take on Neo and the Egg Fleet on Angel island! I am curious as to whether Extreme Gear will actually make an appearance or if this is just a fun Easter egg she threw in.
