The Tidewater Comic Convention is a smaller con founded by Mike Federali that has steadily grown over the years. This year’s convention will be held this weekend on the 12th & 13th at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. In addition to other comic book professional that will be in attendance, con-goers will have an opportunity to meet artist Tracy Yardley. Likewise, artist Edwin Huang will be present along with his exclusive Superstars Variant of issue #1! Otherwise, there seems to be no IDW or Sonic related panels scheduled. However, in the event of any news out of the con, we will be sure to let you know!
The Superstars variant will be the final convention exclusive cover for Issue #1 with Issue #7 being the next con exclusive slated for SDCC later this year in July. Edwin’s cover is an updated version of Archie Issue #272 with Tails and Knuckles trying to keep up with Sonic.
