Free Comic Book Day is this weekend, May 5, and while many Sonic fans are thankful that we once again have a Sonic comic, many were disappointed that there will not be a FCBD issue of IDW’s new iteration of the Blue Blur this year.
Nevertheless, there is a Sonic comic that is being released this Saturday. While it is technically free, you will need to head to a Spencer’s Gifts store and purchase a special edition IDW Sonic T-shirt featuring Adam Bryce Thomas’s awesome 1B cover art to get it!
While you can buy the shirt off there website, you will need to head into a physical location to get the issue #1 variant cover by Jonathan Gray. We have previously reported on this cover after it was leaked on the Sonic Styles Instragram account, and a copy was sold on ebay along with other issue #1 variants. The T-shirt is retailing for $21.99, and copies of the variant are sure to be limited, so make sure you get find the store nearest to you!
